|I had planned a trip to Vermont this coming week but I had to make the trip ahead of time, which turned to be very positive because the temperatures here have been on the warmer side. And besides the fog during the first 150 miles or so and the relentless rain pretty much the entire drive, there was no road snow or ice to deal with.
I had a chance to go out this morning and then again as the sun was setting this afternoon to shoot some pictures and the results speak to the quality of the light. During the morning the sky was still overcast and I love how the clouds blend with the snow on the ground while during the late afternoon there was nothing but a clear, cold blue sky and the sun, low in the horizon, casted a beautiful golden light over the snow and specially over the birch trees which are in abundance here.
